You can now sign books of condolence across Shrewsbury, or leave floral tributes at Shrewsbury Castle and The Abbey. UPDATE: - Following the death of Queen Elizabeth II on September 8, the UK is now in a period of national mourning. This week sees the opening of the newly restored Shrewsbury Flaxmill Maltings (pictured above), with visitors welcome from September 10 - plus it's Heritage Open Days across town, with lots of quirky and historic venues putting on special events, and the inaugural Proms in the Park. ![]()
